Our Story – Gorilla Inc.

At Gorilla Inc., we don’t just make chilly bins — we build the toughest coolers on the planet. Our story began in Mount Maunganui, Aotearoa, where the outdoors doesn’t do “easy.” From blistering beach days to multi-day fishing missions, from rugged bush tracks to backyard BBQ marathons, we kept seeing one problem: coolers that couldn’t keep up.

So we set out to create something better. Something stronger. Something that could survive real NZ conditions — harsh UV, rough terrain, long drives, heavy loads and unpredictable weather. We tested every design in the field, dropped them, dragged them, overloaded them… if it didn’t pass the test, it didn’t wear the Gorilla name.

Today, our chilly bins are trusted by fishers, campers, hunters, tradies, boaties and families across the country.
